Then they can monitor the security of your home, testing the equipment (gas, electricity, light bulbs etc) and hold a log book, submitting regular reports to you as the our owners.

They're in effect your "eyes and ears" in the country of your choice, taking care of your property while you're not around to do so yourselves.
