It is a condition of working for DCC International Property that all its staff read, understand and sign a copy of the following charter before taking up employment with us.
It's our way of formalising what we believe, from the top of the company down and through all of our regions.
"Employees should conduct themselves in a professional manner when at work, on business, representing the company or otherwise engaged in activities that affect the company. Employees are expected at all times to be punctual, courteous and loyal."
"Clients are our number one priority at all times. They must be treated with respect, listened to carefully, and always have their opinions and feelings taken into account. Treat them how you would wish to be treated yourself."
"All information you give to clients must be specific, accurate, relevant and from an approved source. If you think any information disseminated within or by the company has become dated or is incomplete, it is your duty to report this so it can be updated, improved or corrected."
"Clients' enquiries must be acknowledged immediately and dealt with promptly. Clients may be unsure as to whom they should address an enquiry, so if you receive an enquiry that you can 't deal with yourself, you must find and pass it immediately to a person who can, informing the client of your actions."
"Likewise, you are not expected to know how to deal with every situation. You are, however, expected to ask for help when you do not know the best way to proceed or are unsure about something. Never act on a situation if you are not 100% sure that what you are doing is correct. If in doubt, ask."
"We are enthusiastic about what we do, and you should be too. Choosing to buy a property overseas is an aspirational decision for our clients, and we expect you to reflect these aspirations with your own. Our clients are working towards long-term goals, and we want you to do the same, both in and out of work."
